Riverside Market Clinic was opened in 2009. This community clinic focuses on urgent care medicine, family medicine, geriatrics and pediatrics and other immediate services for non-life-threatening situations. The clinic’s affordable health care options range from basic consultations ($35) to EKG, blood and urine tests, STD panels, weight loss program, and women’s/men’s wellness promotions. We are also able to perform toenail removals, laceration repairs, PAP smears, abscess incision and drainage and cryoprobe therapy.

We offer FREE screening for patients twice yearly for Glucose and Blood Pressure on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8am-10am on a walk-in basis. This clinic offers many on-site diagnostic services, along with an affordable pharmacy for many medications and refills.

Riverside Market Clinic also offers COVID-19 testing. We have rapid COVID-19 testing, with results available within 15 minutes. We also have the PCR test available.

Riverside Market Clinic staff is supervised by Dr. Shruti Patel MD. Our providers are Physician Assistants Belen Chairez and Bhumi Patel, Nurse practitioners are Ampora Gonzales, Jennifer Muniz and Pensri Smithedajkul. Together this professional team offers the community optimal wellness at an affordable rate. The team is lead by Marlene Corrales with experienced, efficient and bilingual medical assistants.

The Riverside Clinic is conveniently located in the Arlington Plaza, next to Cardenas Market, at 6200 Van Buren Blvd- Suite 100, Riverside CA 92503. Parking is free and walk-ins are welcome- NO APPOINTMENT IS NECESSARY. Our staff and providers are bi-lingual in Spanish.

We encourage all patients to get an annual physical and general consultation to manage and maintain your health. By doing a thorough physical exam and laboratory tests, the provider will be able to assess the general health of a patient. All patients will be seen a licensed Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner or Medical Doctor.

We offer many packages which are inclusive of the consultation and laboratory testing. The follow up visit to discuss lab results is also included.

Hitesh Patel

Hitesh Patel, MD Hitesh Patel is a family medicine physician. He started Low Cost Health Clinics in 2001. Dr. Patel started the clinics with the sole purpose of being able to provide excellent medical care to the community at an affordable price. His vision has become the three main principles the clinics operate by: providing the best medical service in a timely manner with a positive attitude. He is passionate about educating and helping the community in treating chronic medical conditions as well as acute urgent care medicine. Prior to 2001, Dr. Patel has extensive experience as a pediatrician, working in urgent care clinics and being Medical Director. Dr. Patel is not only a medical doctor but also manages all 7 low cost health clinic locations.

Shruti Patel

Shruti Patel, MD Shruti Patel is a board certified physician in family medicine. She has excellent bedside manner and is bilingual in Spanish. She has many years of experience working in primary care and urgent care medicine. She is one of the supervising physicians for Low Cost Health Clinics. Dr. Patel is also involved in the management of the clinics.

Jose Ruiz

Jose Ruiz, PA-C Jose Ruiz is a certified physician assistant with over 30 years of experience. Prior to graduating from USC with a degree for physician assistant, Jose was a medical doctor in Mexico. He is a compassionate provider with a great bedside manner. Jose works at Ruiz Patel Medical Clinic in Santa Ana and in Corona. He has extensive knowledge in primary care and urgent care medicine. Jose performs many procedures at the clinic including toenail removals, laceration repairs, skin biopsies, abscess incision and drainage.

Roberto Guillen

Roberto Guillen, PA Roberto Guillen is a Physician Assistant with more than 20 years of experience. He has extensive medical knowledge and is able to perform many procedures in house, such as toenail removals, laceration repairs, Incision and drainage of abscesses, skin biopsies, joint injections etc. He is bilingual in Spanish and has a very compassionate bedside manner. Roberto works primarily at Indio Medical Clinic.
