The healthcare provider will obtain a history of symptoms and perform a physical exam to assess the cause and diagnosis of your condition. They will then recommend the necessary treatment to alleviate your symptoms and treat the infection. Treatment often includes oral medications, injections and supportive care.
If needed, the provider will order imaging such as X-ray or CT scan. Once results are obtained, you will receive a call to follow up in the clinic to discuss the results.
